Robertson and Glover: Dumb And Dumber

I used to like Pat Robertson but over the past few years I think he has slowly began creeping into senility. Do I think God hit Haiti with the earthquake as vengeance for all of the voodoo that takes place there? No.

On the other side we have Danny Glover. But his problem isn't senility. It's just plain stupidity. He's never been too bright, especially when it comes to politics and science.

Glover is blaming the earthquake on the failure of the climate summit in Copenhagen. He basically said the Earth is sending us a message that we better do something about global warming. That's great considering that the Northern hemisphere is freezing it's butt off.

When we see what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen, this is the response, this is what happens, you know what I’m sayin’?
Sheer poetry.

I agree with You. Comment by Robertson is completely out of this world.

In certain sense Glover was right. If climate change will accelerate as predicted, although this catastrophe has nothing to do with the warming climate, more catastrophes of the same and greater magnitude will happen.

I don't think that Glover meant that this was some sort of a straight revenge by mother earth or something as stupid.

I do not believe Danny Glover was right. Climate change is due to forces beyond our control or even influence. The term was "global warming" until temperatures started falling so the environmentalists had to change the term to "climate change" or risk looking like morons. Earthquakes happened before mankind. Global warming and cooling happened before mankind. They happen in spite of mankind. No, we are not the cause.
