Camille Paglia: "Best Political Speech Ever"

Camille Paglia at Salon.com is a liberal I have respect for. She doesn't have typical liberal knee-jerk reactions to everything and thinks things through logically before she forms an opinion. She is one of the few liberal columnists I read.

Last week she assessed GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin. Here's what she had to say:

“We may be seeing the first woman president. As a Democrat, I am reeling . . . That was the best political speech I have ever seen delivered by an American woman politician. [Sarah] Palin is as tough as nails… Good Lord, we had barely 12 hours of Democrat optimism… It was a stunningly timed piece of PR by the Republicans.”
Honest Democrats see Sarah Palin for what she truly is...a fantastic choice for VP. The rest of them will try to dig up, distort, and fabricate as many negatives as they can on her. Fear not, because the attacks will backfire on them.
