Dead Earth USA

To prevent any confusion, I affectionately refer to Al Gore's conglomeration of misinformed and uninformed musicians as "Dead Earth". Here's an example to put it into context. "Oh my God!! If we don't stop driving cars, stop feeding cattle foods that give them gas, and stop using toilet paper, the Earth will be destroyed in 50 years!! Wait, make that 10 years. Well, it could be as soon as five years."

I'm not here to bash the musicians who are taking part in these events. I believe that most of them want to make a difference. I have been a musician for 25 years and I like a lot of their music. However, they are very gullible (as a whole), and are easily mislead by other "celebrities" who pass themselves off as experts, i.e., Al Gore. In this case, Al Gore isn't much more informed than the people he is leading.

There are some people in this movement who are smarter than Al Gore. But when you get to the heart of the matter, you find out they are nothing more than a stark raving liberal lunatic.

Take Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for example. Here is a guy who has the potential to be somebody important. The family name alone is enough to buy a seat in Congress. Just look at Uncle Ted. He's a permanent member of Congress.

RFK is very passionate about green things. I've seen him on several news shows. Is it because he truly believes we are destroying the planet or is it because he has a financial stake in a "solution"? I don't know the answer to that question.

At the Dead Earth USA show RFK Jr. said that politicians (and he means you, too) who are skeptical of global warming are traitors and should be treated as such. Traitors against whom, Mr. Kennedy? What about the countries that were exempted from Kyoto? What about volcanoes that spew more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than industry? Are they traitors, too?

I, according to Mr. Kennedy's definition, am a traitor. I do not believe (not even a fraction of a percent) that global warming is caused or influenced by mankind's actions or inventions. We don't have that kind of power. The solar system is much bigger and much more powerful than we are. The Earth is not a delicate planet. The most powerful weapon man has ever created had no physical or atmospheric effect on the Earth. It did instantly destroy several thousand human lives and even more over the last 60 years but the planet Earth went on unfazed.

The interesting thing here is, there are a lot of dolts out there who believe this garbage. A lot of people are going to make a lot of money with "solutions" to global warming. That gives me an idea. What a paradox! A capitalist conservative staring at an opportunity to make money on a liberal lie. Hmmm. I'll have to give that some thought. Hey, doctors have been doing it for decades.
