Obama: More Of The Same

In 2006, we put Democrats back in charge of Congress. Now in 2008, we are faced with a questionable economy primarily due to government overspending and high energy prices. We may be teetering on the edge of a major recession. Therefore, it is imperative that we elect the right leader as our next president to lead us away from recession and into prosperity.

The question you have to ask yourself is what drives our economy? Is it the federal government? Is it big corporations? Is it foreign markets? The answer to all of the above is no.

What drive the American economy are the individual and small businesses. They are the backbone of America. Therefore, it is in our best interest to see that these groups are unencumbered by government and free markets are allowed to work. If we burden either or both groups with taxes and regulations, you can rest assured a recession is coming.

Our federal government is broken. We need to elect the person who can fix it. Barack Obama has no experience with such matters. He is nothing more than a speech. His speeches are filled with liberal nonsense dating back to the George McGovern era. Higher taxes, more regulation on business, military cuts, etc. Those policies will drive this country straight into a deep recession just like Jimmy Carter did.

John McCain has been fighting for this country since Obama was in diapers. He has stood on his principles and always done what he thought was best for the American people even if it meant alienating his own party.

This is the best opportunity we have had in 20 years to reform Washington. If we elect McCain as president, change is coming. If we elect Obama, it will just be more of the same.
