Iranian Hostage Crisis: 29th Anniversary

Tomorrow marks the 29th Anniversary of the Iranian Hostage Crisis under Jimmy Carter's administration. For those who don't remember it, Iranian revolutionary students (which probably included current Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad) took over the American embassy and captured 52 U.S. diplomats. They were held in captivity for 444 days.

The Carter administration's negotiations with these terrorists was utterly useless. These people only understand fear and violence. On the very day that Ronald Reagan was sworn in as President of the United States, January 20, 1981, Iran released the hostages. You libs can spin it however you want but there is no doubt that they feared what the U.S. under Reagan would do to free their people.

Want peace? Vote McCain tomorrow.
