OT: Arkansas vs Tennessee Preview

You're probably thinking, "Football?. I thought this was a political blog." You're right but I will occasionally inject other things that are of interest. Being a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a lifelong Razorback fan, I am excited about how the football team is doing this year.

Today is the big matchup between the #11 Arkansas Razorbacks (8-1) and the #13 Tennessee Volunteers (7-2) in Fayetteville, Arkansas. ESPN Game Day broadcast from Razorback Stadium this morning.

Both Arkansas and Tennessee will have new starting quarterbacks today. Sophomore Casey Dick will start for Arkansas after a good outing last week coming in off the bench against South Carolina. Red shirt Freshman Jonathan Crompton, who came in for the injured Erik Ainge last week, will start for Tennessee.

Expect Arkansas running back Darren McFadden to carry the ball a lot today. Arkansas' defensive secondary will have to be alert and in top form to shut down Tennessee's passing game.

Joe, thank you for your comments. It is nice that we can disagree and still be civil about it. I tend to be a little hard on liberals but I never mean it personally.
