Liberals: The Real Racists

I want to commend you liberals on perfecting the arts of deception and hypocrisy. You and your co-conspirators, the liberal media, have successfully, but inaccurately, portrayed conservatives as racists when the truth is, you are the real racists.

Let me remind you that the Republican party was formed to abolish slavery. It was the Democrats who wanted the right to own slaves. I am a huge proponent of states' rights but nevertheless, slavery was just wrong.

Let me also remind you that it was the Republican party that passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Democrats, including ex-KKK member and Sen. Robert Byrd, filibustered against the bill for 83 days. 82% of Republicans voted for the bill. Only 68% of Democrats did.

It is liberal journalists and cartoonists who have made repulsive racist comments about Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and U.S. Senatorial Candidate Michael Steele. Rice has been portrayed in caricatures with racially-based exaggerated features. Steele was called an "Uncle Tom" by the Democratic Senate leader. He has also been called "Simple Sambo" and had Oreo cookies thrown at him by Democrats at a debate.

Don't try to sell your racist hypocrisy here because I'm not buying. It is you liberals who are the real racists. Let these people out from underneath the thumb of the liberal establishment and let them build their own lives into something successful. You have taught minorities that they are incapable of surviving without the government's help. And that is exactly where you liberal politicians want them. It ensures their re-election.
